We all went to cottage for the long weekend of Labour Day weekend, Citra was just few days shy of 5 months.  Seemly nearly each post I made, Citra was at least one month older, ah!

Couples of our friends joined us for the weekend at cottage and beach – luckily the weather was reasonable and water was swimmable for small children including Citra.  As usual, here are some pictures for you to fest your eyes on:

Edible items has also been introduced as she showed great interest in what we are having as you can see her trying to drink that cup.

We left on Friday midnight and drove almost non-stop in order to be in Maryland by Saturday as my sister’s wedding was to be on Sunday.  Afterward, we had a week off so we took our time returning home, visited friends in Delaware and my family again on our way back.  Citra handled it really well while her parents were tearing their hairs out from going wrong way several times, getting lost.

Here is tid-bits of Citra’s 1st long visit in United States:

Citra has taken to sucking her two middle fingers as her favourite quiet time – soother has been introduced but she look at it as another toy and chew on it instead, ah well.

 

My, my, a month has passed since the last post – Citra is one busy girl.

She has learned to:

• roll back to her back,
• attempting at crawling – mostly kicking her legs and sticking her bum up in air while resting her head and arms,
• blow the air, yes, as in “blowing the candle out” kind of blow,
• and more.

Citra has been rolling over more since her first attempt, some day she did less and some day she did more.  She is getting accustomed to it even through she is still frustrated at how to get herself out of situation.

Its more of flipping over rather than a roll – she will get there soon enough as she has been doing more of it and within a minute since that attempt.
